I guess they never had access to a modable 9500 np card cause they leave the 9500 Pro in the dust

I have a 9500 pro and am considering picking up a modable 9500 just to try that trick with. I am sure I could resell my practically brand new 9500 pro for 150 bucks or so.

I have the Sapphire 9500 np that I think may end up going to ebay, it just cruises along....I just replaced it with a 9700 AIW Pro but the 9500 np OC'd still surpasses what I have been able to reach with the AIW 9700 Pro.....

I can clock it to 387/303 from the default of 276/270 without corruption of the graphics

those benches seem very low i'm running only a 2500+ and i'm getting about 80fps with

4x aa and 16x filtering

and all the game grapics settings MAXED

1200x1600

and well over 100 @ just 2 x aa...

While it may or may not be a real 'issue' one of the main reasons I went with the 9600 is due to its DX9 feature. I really couldn't afford a higher end card at the moment and am very pleased with the price and performance of my current card.

So, with that in mind, what real advantage would the modded 9500 be if you're wanting the DX9 support?

Is the card Moddable to 9700?

I thought only a special version that was overclocked outperformed the pro....

well, its right they didnt talk bout the modded card, but not even talking bout OCed cards, its just bout the default setting
