Testers Invited for Windows XP SP2 Beta

Microsoft is gearing up to release a beta version of Windows XP Service Pack 2. An e-mail sent out Thursday invited testers to install and evaluate the pre-release code when it becomes available within the next several weeks.

The second Windows XP service pack is the first major upgrade to Microsoft's flagship operating system. The package is slated to include a variety of bug fixes, as well as new security features, improved patch distribution and updated Internet technologies.

Install windows update is turned on by default, so it will check for updates and download/install automatically unless you turn them off. Thats all it is afaik...then again if betaplace would let me accept the program i would know for sure...

but im sure my ppl will get it leaked

just apply to be a beta tester and you wont need to worry about leaks...

There's a few things stopping me from doing that.
1. "Due to the volume of requests received, you will only be contacted if you are chosen to participate. " - i.e. NEVER
2. "Invalid contact information may result in your nomination being rejected" - no thanks, I dont want M$ to know anything about me. The less they know, the better.
3. "What is the size of your company?" - yeah, what company?!?
4. "How many Servers does your organization have?" - umm 0
5. "What is your role within your company?" - NoNE

What are the chances of them picking me?
