Acer Athlon 64 notebook to arrive January
"AN ACER NOTEBOOK using a 3000+ Athlon 64 microprocessor is now set for release in January, according to sources close to the action.
The Acer Aspire 1501LMi will support 512MB DDR memory, will have a 60GB hard rive, DVD Dual+/-R/W Siper Drive, and a 15-inch TFT SXGA+ screen at 1400 by 1050 pixels – driven by ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 technology with 64MB of DDR memory.
As well as these features, the machine will also come with a 56K modem, Gigabit LAN, 802.11g, four USB 2.0 ports, Firewire, audio.
It will weight 3.4KG, and measures 326x290x38.6 mm. It will come with Windows XP Home and a Flash 3-in-1 reader.
The only thing we don't know about it so far is the price."
