"A 3D navigation interface which threatens to be as radical an innovation for UIs as the introduction of the mouse, will go live today.

Versions of this UI have been developed by Infocube for virtually every OS you can think of, but it is especially suited to mobile phones. With their small screens, it is difficult to enable handset users to drill down through layers of data to reach the information or services they want.

With Infocube, users simply spin a (Rubix) cube around (like a dice) until they find the option they want. It's 3D because you can spin up and down as well as left and right. "

Umm...this sounds like the interface the gamecube uses to me.
