Very nice article, but it doesnt really show the diference between the older cards and the more recent cards cuz like it says in the article the review was made with AA/AF off and that really shows on the global results.

Amazed how high the Geforce 2 got - mind you, it's nor really any less capable than a Geforce 4 MX

Also shows that it you're prepared to turn the settings down a little, you can get by - so long as it doesnt demand a particular level of hardware in the first place.

The other notable feature - a few honourable exceptions to cost increasing faster than performance.

isnt difficult to believe as gf4mx are like the best of the gf2s =p

Well that certainly validates what I've been thinking. My old GF 3 Ti 200 isn't the worst card in the world!!! It's not at the top of the pack but hangs pretty close to the center. I've got mine OC'd as well. I'd like to be able to buy one of the fancier cards to have AA and all that good stuff turned on, but you know, I can live without it for a while.
