its more a copy of GTA. uh oh, rockstar could sue sega for making a copy of GTA. Guess their (segas) legal team didnt htink of that.

oh a more serious note, I think its intened to be a parody of driving games, and would fall under fair use.

Also, you cant copywrite a gener, if sega wins this case, it means that only one company can produce action movies involving spies, only one could make action movies with police, ect...

I'm always loyal to sega, but cmon if the game had the same controls, city layout, menus, and type of music then maybe it could accuse it. i've never played it but it looks a lot more diff

Simpsons Road Rage is nothing like GTA at all....it is however almost the exact same game as crazy taxi....
you drive around picking up passengers and drop them off at a location for money...
sega are twits for trying to stop things like this happening...i really think they will lose.

And btw if you mean crazy taxi is like the taxi missions in GTA3/vice city then it still wouldnt matter as crazy taxi was out before GTA3

ahh thats just how i remember it...but i do live in a house with 6 females and 1 male (meh)

acctually I was referring to gernal chaotic driving.

acctaully now that I think about it carmageddon was the first chaotic driving game.

Two diffrent games two diffrent rip offs

I'm suprized sega waited this long to do anything about Roadrage.
Roadrage copyed Crazytaxi right down to the big arrow showing you where to go.

This is pathetic. How many game copies exist. I mean how many Fighters are there(like street fighter). Didn't they figure out as soon as that game became popular that 500 other similar games were going to come out. It is like any other kind of media, one comes out and a parady or similar will come out using references to, or making an almost exact copy with lots of minor changes to make it different. They should know the court is not going to let this fly through. Never has (this is not the first time and certainly not the last).

GTA wasn't first for this, it was Crazy Taxi back in 99 I believe...then Simpsons Road Rage & GTA 3 and Vice City...
