AMD's plans for Socket A next year revealed
SOURCES TOLD THE INQ that AMD has told them of Socket A products that will be available in Q1 of next year.
The Socket A chips include the desktop Athlon XP, the Durons, 25 watt mobile Athlon XP-Ms, and 35 watt mobile Athlon XP-Ms.

Oh and 45 watt XP-Ms and 72 watt XP-Ms as well.

I pulled it off of googles CACHE.... when i was doing a monthly search for Series 5 or PVR related stuff..... see if i could find some more bits of info.....

One of the links didn't work.. but the info under it looked rather quite interesting... so i tried the cache.... only thing that came up was this image... BMP i might add....

I saved it.... and never thought of it a few days later when i gave it to a few people.... they were just as "it's fake" as me.... but you never know....

What's striking.. is the image is not only holding a new AMD cpu ... named ATHENA.... but it also holds a rather interesting PVR related Display adapter....

i'll post the link to the image... (i'm hosting it... ignore the name.. that's what i called it when i saved it as jpg 160KB)

BTW, i tried doing the same search.. but couldn't find the same thing again.... sorta really makes me wonder..
