Microsoft removes swastikas from fonts

"A REPORT from Reuters said Microsoft had accidentally included a font with Office 2003 that included two swastikas and will replace them.
The fonts, said Reuters, originated from a Japanese character set, and were inadvertently included in Bookshelf Symbol Seven."

Note that the swastika's are from a Japanese Character set. In almost all cultures swatika's represented the sun prior to the Third Reich and still do. I remember an incident when a whole bunch of toys ( I think it might have been from kinder eggs but I'm not sure) were front page news around christmas because they were made in Asia and a little monk like character had a backwards swastika on him. It's really not a problem, unless somebody gets offended and makes it a problem. Shows how image conscious our society is though.

hehe, I have a pokemon card with a swastica on it. (Import) Why do I have it? not sure...

the US version of it has the swastica removed.
