Slovak is on a distinguished road

Thumbs Down!

AVG is pretty much garbage in my opinion. It is all I used until I had a problem that everyone swore was a virus. No matter how I scanned it always came up free of viruses, until I downloaded a free trial of NAV 2004 and it found not one, but three viruses and fixed them all. I purchased NAV 2004.

Im not a big fan either, I use norton corporate, alot of people do use AVG though due to the fact mainly its free, and I guess some protection is better than nothing.

Wow great deal, thanks for link.

I see you have to update after one year for the same renewal rate- not sure how much money that is, and the offer only lasts until 6/30/04.

*quote-
"*Exclusive offer for Microsoft customers. Free 12-month software subscription to CA's eTrust EZ Armor Antivirus and Firewall security suite valid for new users only. Limit 1 per household. Not to be combined with any other offer. Customers may renew subscription after first year at current renewal rate. Free software offer expires 6/30/04."

But still a good deal. I think Windows XP should include a full featured firewall and virus scanner for the price you pay combined with the security holes anyway...

Right now I'm using Norton 2002 which I only use for email scans and full system scans and Zone alarm pro-

I wonder how eTrust EZ Armor firewall compares to Zone Alarm pro when it comes to tweak-ability and ease of use?

For peeps looking for free firewalls- Here is a really good compare chart-
