Epox expects to return to profitability this year

Epox Computer expects to return to profitability in 2004, buoyed by an increase in shipments of motherboards, Bluetooth devices, industrial PCs and newly developed products like graphics cards and barebone systems. In 2003 Epox was operating at a loss.

Epox will target markets in India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, aiming to ship two million motherboards in 2004, compared with 1.8 million units in 2003 and 1.73 million units in 2002.

The company aims to deliver 200,000 graphics cards in 2004, 120,000 barebone systems, and Sales of Bluetooth devices and IPCs are expected to total NT$550 million in 2004.
