Nintendo gets back in the game
Only a few months ago, it looked like it was "game over" for Nintendo.

Its mainstay GameCube console was losing ground to Microsoft's Xbox, and Sony--which had already ousted the company from the top slot in the home market--announced plans for a handheld game machine to challenge Nintendo's GameBoy Advance.

Nintendo answered with a series of price cuts that rejuvenated GameCube demand and sent holiday sales up more than 70 percent from a year ago. It is also launching a new handheld game machine that is not as high tech as those Sony and Microsoft plan to introduce, but still breaks new ground in the gaming world.

....not sure about the new nintendo handheld..... doesn't look good... but damn... yeah... the gamecubes could not be found anywere BUT one place in the city i lived in.... luckly it was close to.... they has 12 in stock.... why? because BLOCK BUSTER doesn't sell them at all cheap.... there wasn't a gamecube to found for a good 2 months.... so i bought the bloody $150 wallet busting block buster cube...

.....funny that..... why would you waste your money on a PS2 or Xbox when there is a Gamecube.... ironic aint it..... Depends on what you want to do with it.... BTW.... Gamecube has onpar graphics as the Xbox.... Can we say Halo vs Metroid Prime anyone..... and what i've seen of the next metroid installment... it's only gonna get better..... And please do tell me... what am i missing out on?... dvd playback? what the heck would i want that if i've already got one... let alone.. the PS2's Playback is terrible in comparison to anything else.... it's worthless in comparison to the standalone crappy $50 ones you can pick off a shelve... and those one have more features..... Also.. Xbox.... can we say..... useless.... IF you already have a computer powerful enough?...... So far... the Gcube has been one of the hardest to even begin to create an emulator on..... the xbox.. well.. is pointless as every game that comes out on it.. is almost all available on computer...... (allthough.. depending on which game gets ported to were... is a different story...)... PS2 is nearly completely emulated.... what does that leave?....... If you want to try and sell me "online gaming"..... i've rather chew on nails.... as i'm not going to pay for something i don't need to pay for.... and i quote you... "Why did you waste your money...."

BTW.... the controller itself is "times" better then Xbox and PS2......

I have an Xbox, and I'm thinking of buying an Gcube, just for playing the 3 most awesome games for the console: "Resident Evil 0", "Resident Evil Remake" and at least but not last "Resident Evil 4"
