A lot of things the RIAA haven't been exactly legal. Nobody's trying to stop them it seems.

This is why they are doing what they please.

There was a U.S court case that told the RIAA that they were out of line and they were told to basically get stufffed -- when they demaded the IP addresses of certain PPL from the ISP.

yep so far the riaa has knowing and planingly broken privacy laws, internationl copyright and trademark laws, and much much more

So why haven't the courts stopped the RIAA - surely the law is in place for a reason and they can't demand the information regarding an ISP's customers?
