ZoneAlarm Free 4.5.538.001
Not one of my favourite software firewalls but I guess its a decent freebie.
"ZoneAlarm includes five interlocking security services that deliver easy-to-use, comprehensive protection. Unlike any other security utility, it incorporates a firewall, Application Control, an Internet Lock, dynamically assigned Security Levels and Zones. Combined, these elements yield the strongest security possible." Get it here |

I was reading about the vulnerablity on Broadband reports, but I tought it was only for a "default instalation", and I wonder if it affects ZA pro? I'll have to go check it out, or I wonder if there is a new fix for ZAP coming...

The vulnerability is being reported for ALL versions of ZA... even Pro...I would HIGHLY suggest if you run ZA that you update to this newest version QUICK!! The vuln is pretty much a garage door on your firewall that you cannot close unless you update... |

Yeah, Sygate is a pain in the arse to set up- You think you are covered, then soem random IP gets a UDP scan in-
It's all win service based, if you set it all up for auto it lets a bunch of crap through, if you block all the win services things don't work. At least w/ ZAP there is an auto config that actually works. The think I don't like about Zap is the speed penalty- it a pretty big bandwidth hog.
