Thermaltake Xaser 5 Review
Since the Majority of DriverHeaven Members are "PROUD" owners of Xaser cases. I'm sure this review will not go unread. HardcoreWare has reviewed the new Xaser 5 cases.

HardcoreWare doesn't seem so 'PROUD' of reviewing this case.

Gets absolutely SAVAGED - the fact that the PCI retention clips do not work on some cards, leaving you with unretained cards, is a serious issue.
My case is pretty bog standard, about £30 with PSU (now replaced). At a recent computer fair, I saw some really smart cases for £20 inc PSU - though that does leave a nagging worry as to how much they could possibly spend on parts for the PSU. Forget names, what matters in the hardware of a case, is if YOU like it.... If I could kit it out with metallic styled drives, I'd quite like an Aluminium case. In general, I don't like front doors on cases - it'd get opened the first time I used the drives, and left open. |
