"Gangland is a compelling premise that never amounts to anything more powerful than inspirational text and mission briefings. Since we're apparently obliged to shut our eyes and turn backward when it comes to criticizing poorly developed videogame plots (hey, Ninja Gaiden is a perfect 10) I'll just forget that this isn't exactly on par with Mafia and move on to gameplay, which, unlike the storyline, isn't a total waste of time."
