CMS Velocity External SATA Drive

"Looming on the horizon, the Serial ATA II standard promises support for external connectivity. Two key issues loom large: cable length and the connector. For external drives to be useful, the standard should support a cable length of at least one meter. Also, the current SATA connector isn't particularly robust. In an ideal external drive, you'd want a connector that could survive hundreds of insertions without being easily bumped loose."
