Well its time for another leak I guess .Tell us what ya think!

*new interface,color schemes finally enabled, auto volume leveling and crossfader added. Also new shins and bug fixes looks pretty nice. Enjoy

just a word of advice check in options under privacy and make sure to uncheck "I want to make microsoft software and services better."
might not mean much but you never know

The last WMP9 beta sucked donkey balls at ripping WMA files. I actually reinstalled WMP8 just to be able to rip files normally again, and I hope NOT to do that with this version.

Well I've downloaded the new player and it looks and runs nicely. I havn't had any problems with it yet so for now I'm happy. I will try the rip CD and let you know how it works!

WMP9 is nice, but it froze my PC twice already . Anyone else getting freezes when playing with the buttons trying to fogure out what they do?

This version *does* run great. One question though that some of you might know the answer to:
When rightclicking a mediafile, you get several options. "Play" is the bold, default setting. Is it possible to modify the register to make "queue..." default? If os, where to find and modify it (I'm familiar with modifying the registry)

Anyone else have WMP9 and 1089 installed and not getting the taskbar when its min? I tried to install it twice and no go. Noone know a fix? Thanks!!

Anyone else have any problems playing Divx files on this build? Every file i've tried seems to crash WMP (simply disapears) .
If there is something to fix this, I'd love to know.

Might wanna reinstall the DivX Codec to solve this, that worked for me. Only subtitled movies crash WMP with me now.... dunno why.

I also get problems with the tolbar player (sp1 1086) but only on one machine???? Weird!

Any ideas? Registry problem?

I do also get the problem about not being able to create registry log when installing XP SP1 on that machine so I wonder if its a shagged registry?
