pHaez you rock, i registered to osbeta just to get this release now, and thanks to you i did at a nice 800 kb a second. Only prob is when I try to install i get a nice little error that halts the installation... something along the lines of "the C:\f54\update\update.inf file is not correct." Thanks anyway and if anyone wants to help me fix this that would be cool too, thanks in advance.

Install worked fine for me.
I would say try opening it agian, it should extract the files, and then it may work.

OK, I have one person downloadin at 45kb/sec not too bad for an FTP. I'm going to bed I'll leave everything on though...One more word to the wise there is a max connections of 4 so anyone idle for more than 3 mins is going to be kicked so you should be downloading. I'll have it back up all day tomarrow with hopefully fewer people connecting so more people can download it. Good luck to everyone who is trying to get in but dont give up.

Wmp9 build 2773 works perfectly with 1089, unlike the older wmp9 build where you had to reinstall it every time you install a new sp build (if you uninstall the older sp, and install the newer sp). I dont even know if that made sense bcuz im tired, but ya.. they work together well.o ya, im gonna put 1089 on kazaa tommorow.

I love these forums lol waiting for XPSP1 1089 to get dont waiting 16 mins left already got WMP 9 And I must say is pretty badass looking can't wait for the finals of XPSP1 & WMP9 come out every SP I get the smoother my pc gets and faster not to metion the audio with the new WMP its outstanding!!!

u need the uxtheme.dll if u want to run different themes than the originals included in xp

WMP9 doesnt seem to work while playing videos, mp3's play perfectly tho. Can anybody confirm this, or tell me if it is just me.
