Windows Mobile update to launch next week

Microsoft is expected next week to announce an update to its Windows Mobile operating system, which powers cell phones and handhelds, CNET News.com has learned. The update, to be known as Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, is based on a Windows CE .Net core, but adds a variety of improvements, according to a source familiar with the situation.
