Prescott moves towards 120+ Watts

"WE HEAR THAT Prescott CPUs that were tested in Taiwan actually pump out even more heat than the magnificent 103 Watts we reported about last summer.

Sources told us that to cool a system as much as 120W should be removed.

This trend just becomes crazy and it seems that the tables have turned and AMD is chuckling away since they are the ones with cool CPUs these days. "

If this trend continues then we could find in a few years' time that home computers are the biggest source of global warming :P
