Another guy - in some newsletter I ended up with, reckons he can "express-submit" any site to google, by placing it on a frequently spidered, top 500 ranked site.

Google's ranking method is inherently flawed, as it places too much trust in the untrusted, I wonder if any reasonably large search engines are ranking-free?

Maybe it's time I gave Altavista another look - I did, and it looks like the "NEAR" option isn't available any more - I was going to try freeware NEAR "what", to try to get around search engines and unscrupulous optimizer's complete devaluation of the term.
