Overclocking the Prescott 2.4A
HardOCP have published their latest review...
"When the Pentium 4 processor's new 90nm "Prescott" core was introduced to us, Intel outlined an entire line-up of new CPU SKUs. As we always tend to look at things from an enthusiast standpoint, there was one that really caught our eye. This CPU was the Pentium 4 "2.8A". It was a Prescott CPU with a 533MHz (Quad Pumped 133MHz) Front Side Bus. It was however missing Intel HyperThreading technology. Full Article |

Things look really good for future Prescotts, I was amazed at how well they overclock and performed, being the first "revision".
Wow. Looks like a local store here has them in stock. It's for an affordable price as well. I already have a 2.4 B @ 3.25, so getting this chip wouldn't be all too benefitial, especially without HT. I also noticed that this local store also carries Mobile 2500+. They're really appealing to the OCing community
