Well my lan has semi-loud music...but its also called the psychoward...so....

I've been to quite a few lp's that involved a far amount of drinking. Also been to quite a few with a number of "females" at them too.

It's great getting a buzz on (not piss drunk) then gaming....it adds to the challenge. You'd be amazed how some women who don't like video games..have a few drinks then finally break down and want to play! Better yet is when they say "Oh..I"m not good at games", and they get in there and kick everyone's ass. Haven't you guys been to one of these that has all elements of a party? It's kinda nice after doing some gaming to be able to relax, eat food you can't around your computer, and talk to other folks.

I all for going out getting a drink at mabe a strip club or something but think of this... while i'm gone who's watching my very expensive hardware? so when I leave i'd have to pack my stuff up.. then when i get back drunk trek it all back in an try hook it up and secure before i pass out and get some Z's

Well neon i have never heard...seen...and experienced any sotlen hardware at any LAN that i have attended in Indiana...nor the lan that i host. And getting drunk or drinking is NOT a very big issue at lans....for one not many lans have alochol. Ours has a separte bar...but that is due to the location of the event...its hosted in the local Knights of Colombus buliding. Just kinda felt like i had to defend the pride of lans lol.
