Boot off That Boot Screen

"Ok, let’s face it. We’re not proud that we are using a Windows operating system. So why do we need to see that damn logo 1,000 times. So what are we going to do about it? We’re going to get rid of those pesky logos one at a time."

if you mean like having XP writes a log of the boot to a file on each boot..,
then you can do so by enabling startup options... adding the switches "/BOOTLOG" to the 'boot.ini'.. see below..

Code:
[operating systems]
.........\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /BOOTLOG
you can do that by editing your boot.ini manually...
type the following command in the Run box to open the file with notepad then edit it..

notepad %HOMEDRIVE%\boot.ini

-Or-

...via the BOOT.INI tab of the System Configuration Utility (msconfig)

after that reboot your PC and the XP'll write a boot log to %SYSTEMROOT%\ntbtlog.txt.

note-- you can also add /SOS to the command-lines to see all drivers load during booting..

BTW, i think that's is okay to have the above post, maybe for some others who don't know..

BTW2, having the XP boot (floppy) disk handy is always a good idea (the one that i posed info many times earlier).. when/before starting to play with the boot.ini. unless you have a mood to play things in RC mode if anything goes wrong..
