Half Life 2 WinHEC Demo Unleashed

"As far as I know we are the only guys that noticed the fact that Half Life 2 was demo'd at WinHEC 2004 and the only ones to record the whole thing, although the actual footage is old it certainly looks awesome on the X800. Half Life 2 has faced delay after delay but Gabe Newell from Valve software confirmed a Summer 2004 release along with the claim that the game will run better on the X800 from ATi than the 6800 from Nvidia. i loved the video.

still can not wait for the release.great graphics and the atmosphere of the game looks as though it is going to be one of the best.

Seems to be the same demo as last year but it looks as if they are showcasing what has been improved and if that video is just a taste, well, I think the hype might just be worth its value this time. The game looks far more polished than before and the interactivity with the enviroment has obviously been improved drastically as well as the physics. Summer '04...lets hope they are able to deliver it by then.

goddamn that just got my adrenaline up and wanting to play this game. That looked like a freakin movie, a realy good sci-fi action flick. Very impressive. I want to play it now.

It sort of reminds me of the future of Terminator 2. You are one of the surviving Humans being attacked by Robots or Aliens in this case and you have to kill them to survive. Just amazing, and it was only a video camera that captured it. Be a great time for valve to release some new demo's using X800 cards.
