Preview: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (PC)

The sequel to our 2003 Game of the Year is looking pretty sharp as LucasArts shows the game for the first time.

"Given the number of "Game of the Year" awards and 5-star ratings Knights of the Old Republic received, it came as no surprise that a sequel was in the works almost as soon as the PC version shipped. What was a surprise was that the developers of the sequel would not be Bioware. This time around the game is being put together by newcomer Obsidian Entertainment. Fortunately while the company may be new, the developers aren't -- they are, in fact, refugees from the recently defunct Black Isle Entertainment and contain some of the minds that worked on stellar RPGs like Fallout 2 and Planescape: Torment and after a run-through on the basics of Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords at the LucasArts booth at E3, this is what we've learned."

I enjoyed the first one, but never really got around to playing it as much as I would have liked...
