save CD to any directory
use that in place of Example

It is in the SP1

here is an example where it is located on mine

"C:\1102_xpsp1\update\update.exe"
If you are just double clicking 1102_xpsp1.exe
it will only do regular update. You must use a zip
program like winrar.exe to extract the entire SP1
to your Hard Drive.

willing to upload file to server /ftp email if you want it uploaded to serve at 30 kb upload speed

yes ok here is what i have so far D:\xp sp1 update and D:\cd-root where cd is located at d:\cd-root

ok here is a way to say in command prompt what you want

D:\xp sp1\update\update.exe -s:d:\cd-root

if update on you post is part of the XP sp1 directory name
d:\xp sp1 update\update\update.exe -s:d:\cd-root

if I read your post correct you should see
a new screen being SP1 progress.

may take u up on that! depends how long i spend upgrading 2000adv to .net

now edit all your posts refering to your ftp site when file is uploaded then repost your link if you don't it will get hammered while im uploading slowing down my connection big time its saying 1 hr 15 till upload is completed
