New screens: "The Suffering", PC

"Encore has released new screenshots from the PC version of The Suffering, a console title which "combines a chilling storyline with third person action and adventure to create one of the most frightening and horrifying experiences available on the PC. Players assume the role of Torque, a man convicted of a horrible crime that he may or may not have committed. He's sentenced to life in Abbott State Penitentiary, a haunted place that hides a terrible secret, one that threatens both the prison guards and the hardened criminals that call this isolated hell home"."

Los Angeles, CA - May 5, 2004 - Encore, a majority-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corporation (NASDAQ: NAVR) today announced that they have reached an agreement with Midway to publish their hit console title The Suffering for Windows PC. The title is scheduled to ship to retailers in late May.
