"This is the day we all have been waiting for. Activision England finally confirms the offical release date for the next blockbuster game from id Software .
Read more for date and price(its not the cheapest game you've seen).

"DOOM 3: The Legacy". It's going to be release on June 14th 2004!

DOOM 3 is going to be released in the USA and Europe at the same time. You have to pay around 59,99$ or 52,99€."

My system couldnt handle the alpha at all. 7-10 fps max usually. p4 2.4, r9600pro,512 sdram, winxp, audigy gamer.

Fake news...

The game hasn't even gone gold yet, and it's supposed to come out in 2 weeks?

I seriously doubt it, looks like all other sites point to July 20th as the release date.

I won't believe and release date rumors until it's gone gold.

A limited edition Deluxe Edition of the game will be launched on the 27th of August this year, with the standard version not following for EIGHT weeks! Those of you who want to get a bit of Doom goodness as soon as possible would be well advised to get a pre-order down for the Deluxe Edition right away!"

Already preordered it about a month ago @ ebgames... I hope it comes out soon, and this isn't false news.... of course, the game has only been in development for 4 years, so I can always wait some more...

wierd i got that much with my mx440 and 800 athlon!

i get about a solid 60

Probably because of the violence in the game...They may be waiting on a non-gorey version

Well I pre-ordered it from play.com, they're still listing it as Octomber tho, but I thought i'd place it with them because i kno they're good, and if they get it in stock they'll get it me asap, if it aint out by june 14th i'll just cancel it.
