Computex Taipei 2004: Day 1 @ Tomshardware

Here we are - back in Taipei for Computex 2004. After the SARS outbreak forced Computex organizers to postpone the event from June until September, the mood is upbeat at this year's event. While there have recently been new SARS cases reported in China, Taiwan has so far not been affected. So, in spite of everything, Computex has managed to maintain its tradition as one of the most important hardware events worldwide, which we, of course, wouldn't want to miss.

Computex has also grown in size and now takes up four halls. More legwork is thus required to roam the halls, while Computex's traffic remains unchanged.
