Default Post New Radeon Omega Drivers 2.4.56 for 9x/ME

Well, it took some time, but the new drivers are out, based on the Catalyst 2.2 drivers by ATI.

Here is what's new:
* Based on the new 2.2 Catalyst drivers (Leaked 9056).
* Managed to apply all my custom settings correctly, the new Catalyst drivers changed some tweak locations in the registry.
* Added support for Radeon 9000 (RV250), Mobility 9000 / Mobility FireGL 9000 (M9) and Radeon 9700 (R300).
* Fixed a performance issue with OpenGL.
* Added a new tweak to increase D3D performance.
* Disabled V-Sinc by default for D3D and OGL.
* Forced 16Bit Z-Buffer for OpenGL applications. (More info in the readme)

Get them <a target="_blank" href="http://www.omegacorner.com">here</a> or from the Fileconnect mirror located <a target="_blank" href="http://www.fileconnect.net/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1684">here</a>.

Discuss them <a target="_blank" href="http://www.hardwareheaven.com/thread.php?id=4910">here</a>.

Enjoy!

Default Post Cool!!!

Downloading them now. One thing I know for sure is that when I installed the 9056 leaks, they worked perfectly(except for that Morrowind "whitewashing" thing ). Even though they showed a major performance drop in 3dMark, games ran better than ever before. All previous problems I had with "catalyst" class drivers melted away.

Thanks Omega! Gonna try 'em right now.

Default Post Woo-hoo!!!

New Omegadrive drivers to go with the new radeon, it seems fitting. Thanks O-man, I still like your ATI drivers the best.
