BFG 6800 Ultra OC Review

Envynews reviews on of the better GeForce 6800 Ultra cards on the market, the BFG 6800 Ultra OC.

"Yes it’s big, the BFG GeForce 6800 Ultra OC, even the reference 6800 Ultra is a big beast. BFG has kept the reference board’s heatsink and RAMsinks in tact, something that’s a rarity for BFG, especially with their enthusiast cards. Since it’s still basically using the reference design, you’ll see the dual Molex plugs on the back of the card. In speaking with BFG themselves, I asked them about the need for both Molex plugs since we all heard nVIDIA was going to let you use one plug on the final silicon. This is partly true. nVIDIA recommends the one Molex for general use, but since BFG is overclocking they are sticking with recommending the two power cables and a minimum 480W PSU; that is why they include the two Y connectors."
