I just tried the link and it worked just ginger-peachy. I hope there's nothing wrong, I already installed the patch....

How to download and install


Select your language from the drop-down list above and click GO.
Click the appropriate Security Update link to begin the download.
Choose Run this program from its current location and click OK, (in Internet Explorer 6, click Open).
Click Yes if asked whether you would like to install and run Q321232.exe.
Click Yes to begin the installation process.

How to use
Restart your computer to complete the installation.

How to uninstall
Uninstall is not available.
IE 6 update (2.41Mb)
IE 5.5 SP2 (2.12Mb)
IE 5.5 SP1 (2.47)
IE 5.01 SP2 for Win2K & NT (1.89Mb)

Ok this UberPatch fixes 6 security exploits in IE

What about the other 8? Most of these are OLD exploits that have yet to be fixed in any way, and one of the "6" fixes apparently fixes the symptom, but not the problem as there's another way of getting around it!

Dammit, when will M$ put security as their #1 concern?
