VisionTek's XTASY RADEON X800 wins awards...

Inverness, IL., July 2, 2004 - - Hartford Computer Group, supplier of VisionTek PC graphics cards, Argus digital cameras, and INKE inkjet refill systems, today announced the success of its ATI RADEON X800 products and the availability of additional graphics products from its web site, including the X800 series of graphics cards.
ATI recently granted VisionTek its official "Graphics by ATI - Certified " product designation for its X800 products. AIB Certification is awarded by ATI only to specific products that have undergone testing and meet a preset level of quality, usability and reliability. AIB Certification is ATI's highest award of quality
"We're proud of the great reviews the ATI RADEON X800 products have been receiving across the board," said Jeff Hoeft, product manager for graphics products at VisionTek. VisionTek has recently won [H]HardOCP's coveted MustHaveHardware award, Driver Heaven's Heavenly Hardware award, Bjorn3d's Golden Bear award, Club Overclock's Recommended award, and VR-Zone's Editor's Choice award.
The XTASY RADEON X800 series utilizes ATI's RADEON(tm) X800 visual processing unit (VPU) which is based on a highly scalable and efficient architecture that uses up to 16 parallel pixel pipes and multiple vertex pipes. VisionTek's new card can process more than 8 billion pixels and almost 800 million vertices per second.

VisionTek's began shipping X800 products to its major retail customers at the time of ATI RADEON X800 product's launch. The new cards are also available direct from VisionTek via their web site at www.visiontek.com
