MillionManLAN III

One year after the last event, MillionManLAN has grown 20% to over a 1,000 participants. THG was on hand in Kentucky to see what the organizers of one of North America's largest LANs did right at MillionManLAN 3.

"In case you're unfamiliar with MillionManLAN (MML), the event is one of the largest LAN parties in North America. Once a year, Troy and Dawn Schwartz, MML's founders, hold a huge LAN party. Last year THG traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to share in the festivities at the First Time".

I'd have to disagree with the people saying it was worse. I thought it was better in almost every aspect. I won't get into details but the sponsorship was reduced because of the backlash from last year (that and "Burden" didn't harass vendors for sponsorship) But I can say without a clear doubt in my mind this was better than last year and the year before. I'm SO looking forward to next year when they move to the new hall and get 3x the amount of floor space. I believe next year they are accounting for (not estimating for) 2000 gamers.
