New Article: Neon at MML

DH member Neon Cowboy recently attended Million Man Lan, click the link below to see what he thought of it...

"Day one was of course always a bit of a mess with 1200+ gamers trying to get all their stuff lugged in and setup. It's best to go with a friend that way you can keep an eye on each others equipment. It never hurts to show up casually late and it may be a lot easier. I'm glad to see nearby construction didn't have any affect on the event; other then having a slightly longer drive to reach the back loading docks. I was surprised they did not have the garage large doors open when I arrived this year, not much help when you're busy trying to carry hardware around especially when the doors auto lock when you exit! Later they propped one of the doors open on each side to make it easier to get in. We had to rely on the nice security guard who held the door for us. "

Well it looks like Neon and The Penguin both had a great time. Thanks Neon for taking the time to collect all the photos and information from the event.

Well neon that was a great read whilst chompn on my rasin toast with blueberry jam. Looks like a very well organised event. Great pics too, good job!!

Well...I wasn't planning on writing an article about it, so its a good thing you did! Unfortunate Andrew and Shaun didn't make it. *shurgs* I had more fun this go'round that I did last year. Spent more time with friends than I did anything else. I need to give the MML/LW staff a BIG thankyou for putting this event on. It keeps getting better and better every year. Was also pleasent to run into Neon and his lovely girl. That makes 3 people from DH I've met in person. Hope to see a few more of you at future MML events!
