Playstation 3 out by March next year - report

SONY WILL have models of the Playstation 3 in shops by March next year, the Kyodo News service reported earlier this week.
And, according to the same wire, it will have its Playstation Portable on sale by the end of this year in Japan.

But few details are available of the technology that the Playstation 3 will use, for understandable reasons.

i think this is BOGUS because most all BIG game consoles are launched in fall

i agree. i think they are confusing this with the anouncement that they will be showing it at the big ces at that time. then you have the japanese release then, maybe a xmas release.

actually, the ps3 will be shown / premier at the end of this year. not yet playable tho, that will be at e3 etc. so i don't think it will be in shops in march.
