Probably one of the all time worst things that can happen to your system is have a hard drive die. Not only are you out of an expensive piece of equipment, but the data that was on that drive must be restored (if you’re lucky and have a backup) or you end up starting from square one attempting to rebuild the system and recreate the lost files.
