VisiongTek X800 XT Platinum Edition Review

"The great guys over at VisionTek have sent us their brand spankin' new X800 XT PE (Platinum Edition). The X800 line-up is ATI's latest batch of polygon-crunching warriors and they both (X800 Pro and XT) mean business. The X800 XT PE comes with a core clock speed of 520MHz and a 560MHz (1120MHz effective ) GDDR-3 memory clock. When compared to the X800 Pro, which has a core speed of 475MHz , a memory clock speed of 450MHz (900MHz effective), and a 12 pixel pipeline, the XT's higher clock speeds and 16 pixel pipe really seems to crown it as the king. Sadly, we don't currently have a X800 Pro to compare the X800 XT against, so the benchmarks will only contain data for the XT. As soon as we get another card worthy of comparison, we will be sure to use it."
