“Seen here as the blue plate on the right side of the motherboard, StackCool is a metal plate that is attached to the capacitors on the opposite side of the motherboard and thus draws some of the heat away from them and the north bridge chipset. This allows the heat to be spread over a larger area and thus be cooled somewhat faster.”
