Ultimate Boot CD 2.4
You need the Ultimate Boot CD if you want to:
Run floppy-based diagnostic tools from CDROM drives. More and more PCs are shipped without floppy drives these days, and it is such a royal pain when you need to run diagnostic tools on them. Free yourself from the slow loading speed of the floppy drive. Even if you do have a floppy drive, it is still much much faster to run your diagnostic tools from the CDROM drive, rather than wait for the tool to load from the floppy drive. Consolidate as many diagnostic tools as possible into one bootable CD. Wouldn't you like to avoid digging into the dusty box to look for the right floppy disk, but simply run them all from a single CD? Then the Ultimate Boot CD is for you! Download: mrbass.org Note:Updated since i originally posted ultimate boot cd 2.31. |

Also, you can customize the CD very easily with up to date anti-virus, etc. I have at least 3-5 diff UBCD's in my laptop case, along with a few layouts ready to burn on the laptop itself. Great tool, and it surely beats floppies hands down. For what it's worth, neither of my 'normal' desktops nor my laptop even have a floppy drive.

what i want... is them to get rid of the FDD ports and resource hogging thing.... and then for MS to give us the option to say pull out the ms cd and put in another to load the nessary "raid" or other device drivers from cd instead of being force to hook up a floppy drive OR to make a copy of the cd with the drivers already loaded (this gets sickening if there are driver updates)
