nVidia 6800GT PCI-E Review

Byte Sector gives the 6800GT a review, its using a PCI-E interface and is another hell of a good card for Doom 3. This might be one of those cards that will give you the biggest bang for the buck from nVidia. The benchmarks were just stunning, 256MB of GDDR3 goodness!

ive seen almost 2000 in 3dmark03 the plane test. it does happen neon both on the XTPE and the 6800 ultra.

that's strange... the 6800 ultra only got 12k or 13k on 3dmark03 and the xtpe abt the same (12k).... how can this card beat em?! :O

that's nVidia. They're not fooling around (now). What I find interesting, is this is 1st Gen! 512MB Geforce xxxx Ultra Ubber Extreme x2 w/SLI ...I need to get a new pair of pants just thinking about it!

Very nice artical,damn I'm immpressed.I thought my 9800XT was good but after finishing this rig see sig.,I know I'm gonna love blasting through D3 with this 6800GT. Man I know I'm gonna just have to go PCI Express before this year is over,and I hope they do get a dual 16x sloted board out because I'll damn sure buy two cards just to SLI them puppies!!!!!!
