Doom 3 review

Doom 3, Doom 3, Doom 3! That's all we're gonna hear this week and the next. The game is stunning and has set a new level in PC gaming graphics, it has lived up to it's expectactions. Gamers Hell gives John Carmack's creation a good review and the score is nothing unexpected. Let me open the preview with what the review said:

"Right now my jaw is hurting quite a lot. This happens when it’s been dropped to the floor frequently over the course of a couple of days. Doom 3 has finally been released, and the wait was worth it. Since late 99 we’ve been receiving relatively small tidbits of information, but I think very few of us had any idea of how it would actually turn out. We’ve seen the videos, read the interviews, but when you actually play it you realize that you knew very little. I’ll start with the story, which takes place as though Doom 1 and 2 never happened. You can skip the next paragraph if you don’t want to know how the game starts."

OMG why? The MP is as lame as Elite Force 2's MP

LOL- which I played allot back in the day on my Geforce2 GTS, but compared to todays MP games, it just doesn't cut it.. I think Carmack is stuck in a time warp where he only wants to improve gfx- which he does well, especially for OGL, but for gameplay in SP and MP he is stuck in 1999 unfortunately.
