The P5AD2 Premium is ASUS’ flagship board using the newly introduced LGA775 spec. ASUS designed this board around the Intel 925X chipset, which boasts full support for all LGA775 based processors, DDR2 RAM operating in Dual Channel mode, as well as PCI Express type devices. As is common, the P5AD2 is a feature complete solution, requiring the addition of an LGA775 processor, DDR2 RAM, PCI-Express video card, and drives. The following components are integrated into the board’s design: 3 IDE ATA-133 ports; 8 SATA-150 ports; 8 USB 2.0 capable ports (4 in rear panel and 2 onboard headers supporting 2 ports each); 3 IEEE 1394 capable ports (1 in rear panel, 2 onboard headers supporting 2 port each); 2 Marvell Gigabit Ethernet ports (1 in rear panel, 1 onboard header supporting 1 port); on-board WiFi 802.11g port in rear panel; C-Media 7.1 channel audio codec featuring S/PDIF optical and RCA type output ports; and serial, parallel, and PS/2 port support.

Just ordered this board. Looking forward to my first board I'll be able to actually 'overclock'
