Pity there wont be an improved PC version right away. I guess Sony hold the cards with this game, ah well maybe sometime next year we get to see the game in all its glory instead of drab pixellated 640x480 blockiness.

The gameplay will still be enjoyable.

well yes of course, but I like both, im greedy - I find consoles especially the PS2 look so poor you miss all the lovely details. its only when you see the PC version you realise the work on the details and scenery.

I usually only look at the graphics detail for the first five minutes of the game, or so, then it loses its awe factor. After that I get tied up in the game itself and am so into it the graphics just blur.

Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy graphics but it's not something that's gonna keep me playing a game, ya know? Gameplay keeps me hooked, not graphics, i.e. Doom 3, graphically stunning but utter crap for gameplay, so I stopped playing it.

I sincerely hope they do something innovative with the gameplay. I don't want to be playing VC, with a different setting, a few new tricks and improved graphics.

P.S - I haven't read up on the game, so I don't know of any 'new' tricks'

VC was a refinement of GTA3's formula. This is called GTA: San Andreas. Like, Vice City it doesn't contain a numerical value. Is it safe to say that it isn't a true sequel? But another refinement release?

That was not the point I was making. i was saying the Pc version was just as good on a gameplay level with massive graphic improvements. didnt you post you liked doom3 anyway?

I dont enjoy playing a game at 1600x1200 if the game sucks but I dont enjoy playing a good game with fuzzy graphics at 640x480 either, especially when ive seen prior versions with 1600x1200 enhanced resolutions and AA and AF.

Basically, if you've seen better, you'll want better. But if you haven't seen better, you'll be just as content. I feel that way for awhile, depending on game. After awhile I adjust and live on.

Well, I said it is a good game and that it was visually stunning, but I also said it was predictable, cliché and limited. Which is I voted it a 7 (good), good dosn't necessarily mean I like it.

My views are often complex, sorry for any confusion.

I read a review on the game a while ago and their goal is to make the game play very new, and revolutionary. I can't remember all the details (they may have not released them ) but I was Very excited at the time.

I am looking forward to this game ( as well as HL2 and World of Warcraft)
