Windows XP SP2 AU Delivery Confirmed for tomorrow (25th)

Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) is the new update for Windows XP. It provides an enhanced security infrastructure, increased manageability and control and an improved experience for users. Microsoft has revised its plans to deliver Windows XP SP2 through the Automatic Updates (AU) delivery mechanism in Windows to give customers more time to plan the roll out of this critical update, or temporarily block the download of Windows XP SP2 to those machines using AU.

Revised delivery schedule of Windows XP SP2:
25th August - Release to Automatic Update for all Windows XP users including those running Windows XP Professional Edition [Gold]; release to Windows Update for interactive user installations.

Update: For anyone that might take this latest date with a pinch of salt. Microsoft have confirmed that tomorrow is the official role out. Turn on AU (System Properties > Automatic Updates > Automatic).

I turned mine on last sunday and got it from auto update yesterday,seems to work very well I love the pop-up blocker. So far games play ok and all other programs seem to work wit no problems.
