Default Post World's Smallest Global Modem

The HyPLCC package not only provides the world's smallest modems but the world's only surface mountable modems as well

Xecom announced the newest member of our HyPLCC modem family, the XE5620G. The XE5620G is a complete 56 KBPS modem with global connectivity in a miniature, surface-mount package. Priced at $43.95 in 10,000 piece quantities, the XE5620G targets embedded systems in North America, Europe, the Pacific Rim and elsewhere throughout the world.

-- XE5620G is a complete modem in Xecom's Hybrid PLCC (HyPLCC) modem package for use throughout the world.

-- The HyPLCC package not only provides the world's smallest modems but the world's only surface mountable modems as well.

Xecom designed the XE5620G for world-wide use. The XE5620G allows the designer of remote monitoring, industrial control or hand-held equipment to specify a one modem for all users. The XE5620G supports all standard data rates from 300 to 56K BPS and includes country configurations to meet telecom standards across the globe.

The XE5620G uses Xecom's HyPLCC modem package first introduced in January 2002. The HyPLCC modem family now includes three models:

-- XE2420 -- Supports data rates up to 2400 BPS for North America
-- XE5620 -- Supports data rates to 56K BPS data plus fax transfer for North America
-- XE5620G -- Supports data rates to 56KBPS data plus fax transfer for global use
