775 sux balls. i'd rather keep to my 478 p4. next upgrade is going to be BTX, A64, nForce 4 chipset, PCI-E, DDR 2.

Yeah you go with BTX, especially when AMD doesn't support it because they don't find it nesesary

lol.....775 sux cuz pins bend/break easier than 478, performance hasn't changed nothing more than 200Mhz over 478, and intel changed the whole numbering system of their CPUs w/the 775 CPUs. 775 won't be any good until they run at 4Ghz and 1Ghz FSB stock. From what i've heard, 775 will be discontinued long before that happens.

Pac - I beg to differ.

I love my 520 - I'm able to push it 500mhz faster with stock cooling. Yes it does run hotter because its a Prescott core but my old 2.4 478 couldn't do that trick.
Well I won't get into the debate. I'm very pleased with my P4 and until proven otherwise, I'll continue to use and recommend Intel products.

well, it would be a long debate yes. We all have our opinions, i say i don't like 775, and you like 'em alot; and that's it.
