Default Post AOpen Announces New Motherboards - Tuned & ready for the next generation

Noted Motherboard Manufacturer Tunes Entire Series of Boards to Make the Most of Intel New 845 GE/PE/GV P4 Chipset Performance Features

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, October 7, 2002 - AOpen Inc. today announced the unveiling of an entire series of motherboards that is perfectly paired with the new 845 GE/PE/GV chipsets being announced by Intel this month. The new chipsets are a result of Intel commitment to the DDR 333 memory module standard, and its accelerated adoption into the PC platform. This development represents a significant bridge to the next generation of high-performance PCs for both AOpen and Intel.

As it has become customary for AOpen, the highly-regarded motherboard manufacturer is pulling-out all the stops in the launch of this new line of boards. This worldwide effort is facilitated by AOpen proven past successes in efficiently pursuing new product research and development and by employing its vast product management resources.

The broad new line of motherboards from AOpen represents all segments of the new Intel chipsets. The boards are available in three series, based on each respective versions of Intel designated chipset nomenclature.
