Mortal Kombat: Deception Ships

Midway Games Inc. today announced that Mortal Kombat: Deception has shipped for PS2 and Xbox. The game will be backed by the most extensive marketing campaign in Midway’s history. The multi-million dollar marketing support for Mortal Kombat: Deception includes television, cinema, print and online advertising, innovative point-of-purchase materials and specialized events. Mortal Kombat: Deception features powerful hand-to-hand and special weapons combat, four unique gameplay modes (Kombat, Konquest, Puzzle and Chess Kombat) along with all-new fighting combinations and multiple character specific fatalities. The GameCube version is scheduled for the first half of 2005.

game looks great, haven't played much of the MK series since like mk2 on snes

WOOOOOHOOO now thats great news, i have a friend that is a MK fanatic, he has played every single MK game out there, he will be happy!!!

I think most people were disapointed with MK4 but it's looking like it's making a come back with 5 and now 6.

Last one I played was MK 2 on the SNES. Good times.
